Principles
We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide our services, to respond to your enquiries or to comply with legal obligations. Disclosure to third parties takes place only in the cases described below.
Hosting & server log files
When you visit the website, the hosting provider automatically stores technical data in server log files (IP address, date and time of access, page requested, browser type). This serves technical security and the stable operation of the website.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The log files are deleted after a short period.
Contacting us
If you contact us via the contact form, by email or by phone, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, email, phone, message) in order to handle your enquiry.
The legal basis is the initiation or performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply.
Document upload
Using the “Upload documents” feature you can send us records. The uploaded files and your contact details are processed solely to handle your request or within the engagement.
The legal basis is the performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Please do not transmit particularly sensitive data without prior arrangement.
Email delivery
To send notifications from forms we use an email service provider as a processor. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place. The transfer serves solely to deliver your enquiry to the practice.
Cookies & consent
This website uses only technically necessary cookies or storage technologies required for operation (e.g. storing your cookie decision and language choice). No consent is required for these.
Optional services (e.g. analytics) — if introduced in future — are loaded only after your explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Recipients
Your data is transferred only to processors (hosting, email delivery) and — within an engagement — to authorities (e.g. tax office, social insurance) on the basis of legal obligations. As a rule, no transfer to third countries takes place.
Retention period
We store personal data only for as long as necessary for the respective purposes. Within engagements, the statutory retention periods apply (in particular § 132 BAO, § 212 UGB — generally 7 years).
Your rights
You have the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You can withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future.
Please contact the address listed above to do so.
Right to complain
If you believe that the processing infringes data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority:
